What talk? You can run it manually with the magician software.

What i was pointing out is why my Samsung 830 4k-64thrd speed (20MB/s) was so much lower than my crucial M4 (124MB/s)
Both were tested on the same desktop. Something is wrong here. I expect the samsung to get at least 100Mb/s or higher.
What is more puzzling is why the samsung 4k-64thrd read speed is lower than the write.

The differences in the ICHR7 design and even your CPU architecture differences and the way it handles instructions, there's just to many variables to even bother with.

Rig in sig.

IRST 11.5.4.1001

Looking to RAID these in 0, as TRIM is apparently supported on Z77 (and a few other chipsets)

Thoughts and feedback welcomed.

Hmm the 4k-64thrd is low compared to my CrucialM4 64gb?

Inte core 2 Quad, ICHR7 (SATAII), AHCI, aligned, Trim on both drives
Samsung 830 got a fresh windows7 install on it. The M4 was my old OS drive, so now its my spare scratch/backup drive.
My samsung 830 only got 20MB/s with 4k-64thrd?.

Yeah and Chrit got 285MB versus your 20MB, I don't have to tell you have many times faster that is do I! eek.gif Here is Chrit making my point for me, compare these results with yours, It's more than twice as fast!

Really nice scores, this is how performance should look with Z77! thumb.gif
