but the problem occur even before the bios logo, it must be hardware related

also i noticed that if i use one of the two pci e x1, the system freeze, without bsod, just stuck there

another thing is that with the 840 pro i remember i did a test before secure erasing it, i've installed all windows update, and still it was woring like a charm

something with the 850 controller maybe

Oh I didn't read before the BIOS logo part. lol But it isn't related to the SSD since your PCIe slots are acting up. That is a mobo firmware issue or issue do to physical damage to the mobo.

still my old 840 was working perfectly, i think will remain a mistery lol

the only logical and good explanation is the bandwidth problem caused by a larger storage(256 vs 128 in this case), i can't see other reason

i think the chipset(controller, dunno how to call it lol) of the mobo can't handle a certain storage if you use the last pcie which is controller not by the cpu like the others 3 pcie, but by the chipset of the mobo

pcie x1 also are not controller by the cpu

i don't know any Mboard where the cpu control all the pcie, i hate this shares bandwidth crap

Is there any reason why I actually need to install Samsung Magician?
I finally figured out that Samsung thinks SSD's are only used in laptops, where the backup function is always done manually, to an external drive.
That's the only reason I can think of, where Magician always automatically disables Windows Backup and Restore.
I don't want to use any program that disables any function of my OS, unless it asks once, respects my decision, and then never asks about it again.
So far, I have had not one single problem using my EVO 500GB SSD's, without using the Samsung software.
I really don't mind having to completely install Windows 7 Pro from scratch, and I think I can install any firmware update, if I think I actually need to, without using Magician.

no need to install it. By default magician doesnt disable anything, only when you run the preset optimizations does it disable things.
