Corsair Force GS is just another SandForce SF-2281 SSD but with Toshiba Toggle-Mode NAND instead of ONFi. To get an idea of performance, check out reviews for the OCZ Vertex 3 MAXIOPS, Kingston HyperX 3K, SanDisk Extreme, Mushkin Chronos Deluxe, etc.

I'll do that thanks. I'll tell you though. On paper the corsair really beat the samsung in everything and by a good margin too....

Of course it does. The numbers they're using is for compressible data. I reckon nearly all SandForce-based drives would have higher technical specifications compared to other SSDs.

these are going for ridiculous prices in australia lately (128 bucks for the 128gb model lol) so i got my gf to pick up one for her new computer. cheaper and better than my crucial :*(

ADD ME! I have the 128Gb

Question though. Are these results typical for the 128Gb connected to a SATA 2 on an X-58 mobo. Marvell 9128 didn't give me better results so I stuck with SATA 2. Notice the shift in 4K write speed. I don't know how it happened.
(Top one; right after I installed Windows.
Bottom; After installing some programs and 1 game and couple of game files (small installationfiles))

BTW how do you add link pics on here again. its not working for me like normal

EDIT: Firfox is wierd with OCN. Pic attachment worked fine with Chrome
