RAID 1 does that. RAID 0 adds them up and combines speeds.

Nitpick by 10 minutes' worth of wage dude? Well I have to thank you for not making an ass out of yourself like some other people might have when I get something wrong. I was obviously thinking of the RAID version(s) that copy the data across multiple drives for data security.
