It's still less than $600, and making $300/hr pretty much makes a $550 drive pocket change anyway.thumb.gif

First benchmark after I remembered to enable AHCI wink.gif

I just got the SSD yesterday and reformatted my PC

I enabled AHCI but is there anything else I can do to have better speeds?

You could make sure the partitions are aligned but I don't think you're going to get better speeds than that.

Partition offset is bad. You should realign it to 1024, or 4096.

My guide here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1226963/how-to-properly-re-align-your-ssd-hdd-partitions

Currently the video is down as YouTube terminated my account, however I have a textual guide to follow. smile.gif

Squee!
Installing the Intel RST seemed to do a lot of good.
But it gives me an error message on the read access time. Any idea what that's about?

How this person got so high score compare to everyone else :B

why everyone's score at 4k is so low 22-14mb ?

edit : Ho i saw the Sata II speed you posted is like 230Mb , very Halfy Half :B
post #640 of 2562
You guys said intel controller is better than Marvell however on my z68 platform the score becomes half e.g. i have 512mb read and 325mb write with Marvell however now i connected it to intel controller Sata ii it has reduced by half and i mean half.
