Why do gamers put 16 GB of RAM in their systems? - Page 70

honestly! why wouldn't you? People buy a MOBO or a quad core proc for the same dang reason your stating about ram haha! why do u need more stuff on your MOBO that you will prob never use? or why would you buy a quad core porc when most games don't even utilize all four cores, lol It don't really make sense to me... I mean kinda a lame ? to be asking really IMHO. why do you want all these features on your mobo or graphics card that you prob wont use why do you want to liquid cool your system when you really don't need 2?? Because we can !. I like to no that if I decide to start photo editing I can do it..I like to no I have the option to install 3 video cards on my mobo go liquid cooling if I like

this ? is like asking why buy a bigger home? when you can't possibly occupy more then 1 room @ a time, lol

Never!
OP should change it to 32gb now that its relevant.
I know where your coming from, had 6 gig for ages and doubt if it was fully used, ever!

But times change quick - look at the recommendations for games far cry 3 etc - 8 gig

And when that Samsung came along £71 for 16 gig = no brainier and I think memory is going to climb again price wise thumb.gif

Cause it only cost me $80. It was a YOLO moment...
