LOL

I was happy way too early .. cos 5 min down the line and I got blue screen lol
Guess will need to pump up more VCore voltage ...

My ambients ... is my room, normal temperature.
I got hyper 212+ (which normally comes with 1 fan) but I bought another extra one ... one sucks air and the other one draws it out.

Anyway ... I added more funs just for testing purpose smile.gif
Wanna see how far I could go ... lol

488

4.2GHz at 1.5125V
Prime run for like 30 min with temps up to 51c (max) and then it shut down without any errors.
Duhhhh!!! Unless it's set in BIOS!?

Anyway, I like to test it at 4.3GHz and 4.4GHz but not sure what type specify
under all those CPU/NB / NB / SB etc lol

As already said, just wanna see how far it would go biggrin.gif

Haha ... nearly 20 minutes, run with highest 51c and then all of sudden 65c lol
I turned it off imao hmmm guess, 4.1GHz and above only water cooling would be the option.

Good testing procedure there Bucki thumb.gif! You're getting your OC style down pat wink.gif

@ PROBN

Cheers mate lol
I was only testing ... entering numbers, not knowing exactly what I am doing ...
whereas you guys do know on instant when and what settings / voltages to change .

Anyway, I removed all the extra fans I added and left it as normal it woul be.
Prime has been run past 1 hr and 30 min already and the result is:

377

I do not kind of like the 54c ... mmmmm
Even tho, when I first installed the hyper 212 the temps were much less, see below:

412

Not sure why is different know!!
Unless, because I run all those tests with higher voltages etc!!

===

By the way, do I look at the CPU TEMP or at the CORE TEMP ?!
The cpu temp is like 6 degree higher compared to core temp!!

Trust core temps.

Hello Again

Not sure why but sometimes the motherboard just shuts down without any errors or anything!!
It was running 20 x 200 on 1.4625V

When it turns off, then when pushing the poweer button .. only one CPU FAN starts spinning (not both) and monitor flashes the red light!!
Also, the same thing happens when turning it off manually and back on .... then saying CPU FAN ERROR on the screen overclock failed.

Unless it does not like 1.4625V - I cannot think of something else!!
Althought I did so many tests before with 1.4625V and it passed ... not sure why is acting stupid now.

Any ideas?!

I'd love to help you with that one, but honestly I have no clue.

Hallo

I have taken the CPU off and cleaned + applied AC5 thermal etc.
Now when I booted up ... the BIOS settings were back to normal!!

I am using same OC's as before:

20.0 X 20 = 4GHz
CPU V. = 1.475v also tried with 1.462
DRAM V. = 1.65 or 1.85 (cant remember anymore)

but when running, prime .. one core fails.
Wondering, why it was working before (before I put the mobo into the case) ... and not working no more?!

338

I also tried with 1.5000v and when prime95 wants to move from 4000 to 8000 ... it suddenly prime displays not responding error.
Probably is due to DRAM voltage ... ?!
