Can yuo give us some more specs? Best is to put your new PC in your system specs. Otherwise, which mobo, ram, PSU (expecially), and whatever else you ahve hanging on that PSU.

Seems like there might be a short somewhere... check if everything is installed properly.

Good parts... nothing wrong with that

Well, as I said, check for a short somewhere. It's a total shut down, right? On and than off after half a second (fans stop spinning, etc)

Quite a few people have had this problem. I, however, haven't, and I don't know the solution. Sorry

see if any parts of your motherboard are hitting the case
post #9 of 21
make sure nothing metal is touching the motherboard from underneath... just check everything out.

Maybe it's best to take everything out of the case, and try booting on a flat, antistatic surface (the bag the board came in would do nice). Try booting like that with just the CPU, one stick of RAM and the video card.

Again, I am correct it shuts down completely.... right?

I think my whole motherboard is touching the case .. because i just screwed the mobo on ... nothing to divide the screws from the mobo or the case below it
