Talk to me Schmuckley.... I'm in florida , and this rig runs out in my garage year round , and was still nice and cool in july stable @ 3.9 gig when ambient temps hit 105 smile.gif I'm on the west coast bout an hour north of Tampa , and I have no other "enthusiasts" local. I could seriously use another "OC" bud

I would imagine you'd want a non-closed loop kit to reach that kind of clock. I think the H100 is decent enough for 4Ghz comfortably, but I think you'd want to move the heat better with a real loop, for 24/7 clocks.

I have a 1100T at 4.2 GHz with a h100 at the moment and don't past 50c yet. Not sure what my ambient temps are at though. Temp wise, I have room to go higher but I think one of the cores is too weak to get to 4.3 GHz, although I'm still trying gradually.

I have my 1090t @ 4.2 right now with the h100 i just installed a week ago, my vcore is set to 1.49 and reaches 1.56 at full load running prime 95. Max temps were 56c.
But i have only just started to play with settings again since i purchased new hardware again-lol. Oh ran prime for 15 hours, my sig rig has a couple changes to it-i will update it soon.

really..for uber-stability in an amd chip..i gotta say propus :lachen.gif: man..i had a quad-core propus...OC'd from 2.6 to 3.76 ..never went over 49c..only thing that limited OC was the craptastic patriot RAM.It was so stable..brings a tear to my eye..::sniff::

Best bang for buck amd cpu in my opinion would be a Phenom II 980BE.
Higher chance of reaching 4 Ghz stable because it starts at 3.7 Ghz already.

six cores are practically useless unless you encode/edit/convert video everyday.
