FX 4100 Max Voltae and Max Temp?

Everywhere I read..I don't see any answers or all the answers are different. So I thought I'd ask myself, what are the max safe voltages and max cpu core temps for an FX 4100? Dank je!

Tjmax is 81C, I wouldn't take her over 70C, and max safe voltage is 1.55. I wouldn't take the temps over 55C overclocked. Also try and keep the voltage under 1.5 if you want the chip to last. thumb.gif

Hummmm okay. I've got her right now at 250*15 for 3.762 GHz with 1.380V and using OCCT max core temp is 44C, so I'm god for now thumb.gif

I believe the max voltage stated by AMD is something like 1.4125v, but you should be safe up to 1.55v. The max operating temperature is 70C, and for 24/7 use you probably are going to want to stay around 55C - 60C.

Alright.....two answers almost identical...so it's got to b accurate. Good though. I'm planning on getting an H60 to replace the hp212 I've got. I'm just dying to get an OC that's higher than 4.0 on this chip...everyone does it so easily an it's become a pain in the rear for me!

Well I've gone upto 1.5V and I would get a BSOD on 4.2GHz frown.gif So I'm trying by raising the bus speed and lowering the multiplier. Right now I'e go it at 15.5 x 250.8 for a whopping 3888.2 MHz core speed smile.gif I'm raisin the multiplie by .5 and testing. Stll got it at 1.356Voltage (under load it jumps to 1.380) but that's still not bad I thnk thumb.gif
