OC'ing Phenom 965, which prime95 option to use?

Well I'm trying to get to 4ghz at a lower voltage this time around. So I'm doing my cpu OC'ing first, testing, and make sure that's stable then I'm going for the cpu-nb. Should I use small fft or blend? I was thinking Small FFT for testing cpu and cpu nb separately, and blend for testing both together? Not 100% sure so any input would be great.

Alright well I'm not as techy with these things as I'd like. I don't even know what FFT stands for lol, would the CPU custom test suffice to test the cpu and cpu-nb and if so how long should i run it?

The definition for FFT is in that link, btw.

You have it right, though. Test everything separately, finding the max for each. Use small, as you stated, then blend once you start bringing everything together.

Thanks man, +rep'd hoping to get some good results out of this smile.gif
