wooohooo alot of money spent wourth it maybe.

well i just went out and bought this pc i upgraded for a amd k6-2 so that im guessing is a big jump. i wanted to be able to play games and stuff and i have been saving since begining of summer.

Was this well wourth money spent.?????

And i ran out of money to buy a better hdd.

Oh when i say i bought it i built it myself i didnt have some fool compaq worker make it.

what is that supposed to mean im just asking if it was a good disision from a jump from amd k6-2 337mhz. and 192 mb of ram.

Too much money spent on the CPU... sorry An E6700 for much less, or even an E6600 would have been more than enough

And what monitor do you plan to get. It better be at least 1600x1200 resultion, otherwise the money spend on SLI was not worth either.

Having that said, it's a greast, awesome supperrig. Of course it's a jump from what you had. You'll see limited over**** though given the SLI motherboard (nVidia + Intel = no good overclock). However, with an X6800 you won't overclock that much anyways,.

i don't get it. your sig rig is conroe but you're saying you bought an AMD processor... i'm confused. god**** my teeth hurt.

err no i owned a previous amd crappy rig now im intel.
And i was thinking about over 20inches of a lcd for under 400 dollars. thats all i have left.

huh? He said he upgraded his old AMD for this.... don't see him mentioning he bought an AMD PC.

400 for a monitor.... you should have indeed saved on the CPU. Sorry to say that again. You could have gotten a fantastic $700-$800 monitor is you would have opted for the E6700
