These 22 inchers look good for the price (widescreen)
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8566486

And this 20.1" Samsung looks nice if yuo don't like widescreen (they're the same, just different color)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001225

Ok, show us some pictures/benchies/etc with that beast.

Hey, if you're happy with your system, then great, you should enjoy it.
Although I agreed that you probably should have opted out of the X6800 and got a e6600 instead and gotten at least a HD upgrade and better monitor. However, unless you can return/sell the processor, then you might as well stick to it and be happy . Come on, you have the fastest desktop processor @ stock speeds and you are upgrading from a 3rd(?) generation processor. You will see a huge difference in performance anyway.

you definitely should have asked on this forum before you purchased the parts though

IMO, 100 more towards hard drive would have been well more important. You can find deadly 300 dollar monitors, but another 100 towards that hard drive woulda helped alot.

Ok time to skimp

sell the old hard drive and monitor and buy at least a 80GB HD.

get this 22" LCD Acer

If you don't like TD (I don't) Newegg has it for $330 + $12 shipping

Good luck and benchmark that monster

Too much money for too small a screen. And you can get better response times on a bigger screen.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009061 Much better choice

Show us benchies. Pictures of the rig would be nice also. All talk and no show does not get you too far here.
