BSOD it throws now is 0x000000A

Forgot to count the standoffs but did install 2 to replace ones that were not there. Will take board out again to inspect for additional standoffs.

Another thing, i had an old mobo that really really didn't like me switching SATA ports and would do lots of weird stuff unless i reformatted or put it back in the same port. I know this probably is a stability issue, but still worth checking smile.gif

I'm stumped on what this could be. But I'll give you a free bump.

Update graphics drivers. Reinstall motherboard drivers (chipset and SATA/RAID) and see what that does.

Your issue is software related more often than not, it's likely just coincidence it's happening now. That error is usually a bad driver (in my experience GPU or MoBo is the most common culprit).

Also, open command prompt and run the command "sfc /scannow" without the quotes around it, does it find any errors it can't repair?

Run a full check disk with attempting to recover/repair bad sectors.

Run windows updates.

Report back with findings after all of these.
