8GB Corsair Vengance - 1600MHz

Thread Starter
I have 8GB (2x4GB) of Corsair Vengance DDR3 Memory, and I recently did a re-fit from a CM690II to a Xigmatek Elysium, and since I've been in the new case only 4GB of my RAM has been 'usable' although Windows 7 knows there's 8GB inserted.

Since then I've had a BSOD BCCode 124, and I'm a little confused.. Any help?

EDIT: And yes, if you can't see on the picture, it's a 64-bit version.

EDIT2: Better picture.

Run memtest86 and check for errors with the RAM.

I know this sounds too obvious but, make sure all of the RAM is seated properly.
(Check to see if the bios reports all 8Gb)

I checked if the BIOS could see it all, and all it said was 3.99GB Usable, which is what Windows says also.
I figured I would switch off, change the RAM from slots A2 and B2 to slots A1 and B1.
It didn't boot.. just said there with a black screen, so I set them back to A2 and B2, and it booted with 8GB usable.
