Im going to buy a 2600K and a Asrock extreme 4.

Mad. But for price over performance id go for the i5 2500k.The only difference between the two is that the i5 has 4 less threads. You nearly wont feel any performance difference.but if you want the i7 go for it. All im saying is for price over performance id go with the i5. but its your choice

on a benchmarking site the i7 2600k is only 6% faster than the i5 2500k

Extreme4 Gen3 is 16 16 when using a cpu compatible with pcie3, current gen Sandy Bridge chips dont support pcie3. You will have to get a board that uses an nforce chip.
