That 1 degree is probably just yield error, meaning the 2nd test started off hotter because it came 2nd, and you're only running it for 5 mins so you can't truly compare; but yeah, that side fan doesn't help all that much, it's the rear exhaust that does all the work.

Glad I could help Reaper, I think you made the right choice, the Frio has a better chance at cooling your OC'd i5 than the h80, you are getting one of the best air heatsinks in the market.

Don't worry about the PSU, it looks like your video card is too far up for it to be as effective anyway.

I'd like to know how it works out for you, we can also help you benchmark!

Sounds good to me, if you haven't already bought it you might want to take a look at some other heatsinks like the Noctua D14

no i haven't bought it yet properly in 2 weeks but is it better than the frio ock?

PS: What type is you mobo loks different to the other mobos

They are about the same, all benchmarks online show different results, so it's really what fits best and looks nicest to you.

My motherboard is an old Socket 939 DFI LanParty UT nF4 SLI-DR, for AMD, single core. Around the 2005 era.
