Need help with 2600k overclocking

Thread Starter
I am having some trouble with overclocking my sandy cpu. I am running it on the Gigabyte z68-Ud7 board. when i go into windows, i have tried using the quick boost to overclock it, and i have gotten it up to 4.6ghz, where i want it to be, however once i do that, and rebot and try and get into the bios it wont let me. I want to properly do an overclock, and not with software, so i would like some help in how to overclock it to 4.5ghz stable.

the specs of my pc are:
2600K
Gigabyte z68-ud7 board
ati 5870 sent in for rma, currently using a 6850
corsair vengeance 16gb ram
ax1200 psu
H70 for cpu cooling

if anyone would be able to help me with the overclocking/ and or the problem i am having, that would be great!

thanks!
