I think you made a good choice geetting the GTX480, but I might be biased. tongue.gif
i don't fold, but this was the best card for that when it came out, so it must still do a great job.

Mine is watercooled (since day 1 of ownership) and I overclocked it using this guide.

http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforce-gtx-480-liquid-cooling-danger-den-review/

I quickly and easily got 900 core clock/1800 shader clock/4380 memory at 1.125v. At this setting this card beats up everything I throw at it. Except Skyrim oddly, that seems to prefer being run at stock clocks. The MSI profiles make that a painless switch by the way.

Enjoy!

A 260 IMO won't be a solid performer in 2 or so years. I think the 480 will hold it's own for a little while still.

With my GTX 470 in Afterburner, to my understanding you cannot unlink the core and shaders, and the shaders are always double the core (aka 750 Core, 1500 Shader). Sorry I missed ya before ya bought it, but I was gonna recommend checking the marketplace for a used one here from people who know how to treat a card (or... you know... suck all the OCing life out of it thumbsupsmiley.png)
