Pentium D 925 BSEL Overclocking ?

Thread Starter
I have an older HP desktop that has an Pentium D 925 @ 3GHz. According to this: http://www.overclock.net/t/341123/intel-bsel-vid-mod-guide I should be able to use the BSEL mod and VID mod on this socket 775 CPU. Now my only concerns are how much voltage would I need to use 1.4 or 1.45?

The Pentium D has a bus speed of 200 MHz, 800 MHz FSB and a multiplier of 15 running at 1.244v, Now I want to achive a 1066 MHz FSB as I have the Q965 chipset which maxes the fsb out at 1066MHz. This would increase the bus speed to 266 MHz, with a multiplier of 15 this would make the CPU run at 3.99 GHz.

So how much voltage would I need? Also the CPU is fairly cool when running Prime 95, it maxes out at 45C core temp, but Intel specifies 63.4C Tcase which should give me enough room for the OC?

Also for the conductive ink would this work: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3964901

If I do plan to do the BSEL mod I am going to also change the thermal paste to AS5 because the thermal paste right now is HP OEM unchanged after 4 years, so I should see slightly less temps afterwards.

Hey, I'm trying the same thing with a 945. Did it work ?
