is this enough for xfx 6770 1gb ddr5

i am currently in process of aquiring xfx 6770 1gb ddr5 gpu but not sure that my psu has juice to run it.
my psu is generic and local one (cheap) but i want to know can i run it with this psu for at least a month and if not suggest a good but cheap psu.please giv me your advice on this.

my psu spec (as on printed on the back)
mercury 450 pro
+3.3v 17a, +12v 25a, -12v 0.5a, +5v 16a, -5v / , +5vsb 2a .(no pcie 6pin connecter)

AMD state you need a minimum of a 450w PSU for the HD5770 and HD6770 (they're both the same GPU just with different HDMI ports from what I remember reading). I would suggest going to a 500w PSU to be safe, especially with the XFX models. 

 

You will need a 6 pin PCIE connector aswell so be sure to get a PSU that already has this rather than a molex extension to the GPU. I tend to find that will cause less hassle in the long run.

 

If you do use your PSU and use a molex to PCIE adaptor, if you experience any trouble running the graphics card (crashes, BSOD, etc) the PSU should be your first point of origin to look at when troubleshooting.

thanks. can u suggest some budget psu for this gpu i dont really understand any thing about psu (under 50$).

I think this will do the job for you. Good quality, reputable brand, and won't break the bank.

 

You'll have to do a search for prices in another currency, or local bargains, etc, though.
