Right now the p5w dh deluxe is the best crossfire option if you want te be able to upgrade to conroe. It does not however support kentsfield.

Unfortunately there has been more delays on the ati RD600 chipset. Hopefully DFI will get enough chipsets to make enough boards for all who want them before the RD600 is discontinued completely. I read somewhere that Amd has already re-assigned half of the development team that was working the bugs out of the RD600 chipset

Lol the P5W DH Deluxe is not the best on the market right now. Also P5W DH does support kentsfield

The Asus P5W64 WS Professional is the best of the best. It will blows the P5W DH out the door with 500FSB straight out of box and no mod

Intel has said that all 2nd gen 975x boards (any 975x board that supports Conroe) will be able to support Kentsfield with a BIOS update.

I hope so. I read somewhere that the p5w dh does not like kentsfield for some reason, but perhaps they can fix it with bios.

I haven't see that motherboard yet. Costs a little more than the p5w but If it doesn't change the strap config like the p5b supposedly does after 400fsb it might be well worth it.

I've see the P5W-DH Deluxe and P5B Deluxe running Kentsfield at XS.

Being that I have the P5B, I have a couple of examples: Here and also Right Here.
