Well I finally cracked into the "being able to boot" 2.7+ with my AMD.

Not stable yet but I'm working on it! My previous boot into windows barrier was 2.62 so at least I'm making some progress !

Keep an eye on the max load temp and do keep below 50c.
What kind of voltages, timings and such are you using ?

Work it up slowly at this point, nice work so far
For a referance, check your BIOS temp, it reflecta about 80% of the full load and compare it to what shows in windows softs.

To be honest... I didn't even know what overclocking entailed until after I bought the chip.

we all should have done alot of things but this hes got and this is what hes ocing so try and submit some constructive help or praise (please)

as far as that goes that is pretty good oc, i have one that i put on phase and it would go to about 2.7 to 2.8 with 1.4vcore (its a 85w version) but that was about it, at least stable allthough i didnt have the time to mess with it like you are

have you tried a x9 multi , how high does your mobo fsb go , because mine like a x9 multi more the 10 or 11
