Sapphire HD7970 - Page 13

How fast do guys think the retailers will sell out come release? I run into the problem if searching for the 6GB cards and if they don't release, missing the vanilla 7970's before they are gone. wth.gif

Well seeing as that sheet from sapphire was saying that their toxic cards will run at 1.335 ghz .... I doubt anything is true on that sheet rolleyes.gif. Running these things at 1.25v core or even 1.3v isn't aiding in anything over much of 1.2 - 1.27 ghz. So unless sapphire gets a bunch of cherry picked cores then 1.335 is not going to be happening smile.gif. So whether a 6GB card is coming out time will tell thumb.gif.

As I told you five cards came to this shop http://www.plaisio.gr/Computers/Hardware/SVGA.htm at 27/12 and all gone with phone orders.
Another five cards sold out yesterday with the same way.
I think we are near to 9/1 so I think its better to wait to see the prices.

I cant wait to see what the 7990 is capable of doing.

It just might melt your monitor.

Believe me or not the 7990 can do the same scores as 2x7970.
I have see already this monster card to do unigine bencmark extreme > 80 fps.

And It's also way cheaper that 2 7970s.. Maybe I'll get a 7990 instead of getting a 7970 then eventually crossfiring..
