Is this only with the 7970? What driver is this? I am looking to get some voltage control with my 6790's. I have tried only msi afterburner and it is not available. Some people told me that it may not be available with msi afterburner but it is with trixx or something. Does anyone know if I am able to get some voltage control on my gpu's? If so, please let me know.

I cant get my gpu's past 925Mhz/1175Mhz before they start becoming unstable. I have seen reviews of the same cards getting up to 1000Mhz stable without voltage control. I am trying to get to 1Ghz core with my cards or somewhere close to it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

So who ordered one of these on newegg? If you haven't noticed, the Sapphire, Powercolor, HIS, Asus, Gigabyte, and XFX models popped up on Newegg.ca and .com a while ago. All of these are the exact same except for the XFX which is the black edition (1000mhz core) They're all in stock on both sites except for the XFX (which is the one I wanted frown.gif ) On the USA site there's also an XFX model that's like all the others (925 core clock). I think I'll wait until they pop up on the Memory Express site and try to snag an XFX Black Edition.

Also, surprisingly the all the cards are the same as the announced price of $550 (except for the XFX Black Edition of course which is $599) . The regular XFX model is $560 for some reason.. thinking.gif . On the Canadian site all cards are $565 except for the Asus and XFX Black Edition which are $600. Not too sure why the Asus is $600...

They're all available now except the XFX Black Edition so go get yours! tongue.gif

I'll keep you posted; I'm literally refreshing 5 other retail sites until they pop up wheee.gif

That's what I'll get if I can't get the XFX Black Edition biggrin.gif That's IMO the best choice out of the 5 brands.

I always go with xfx. I think they have the some of the best reliable cards and usually the best looking one too. I also like asus too but every card I have been satisfied with has been xfx. Got msi a couple times and didn't like it. Have used asus but never owned. MSi usually has nice looking cards as well but I usually have problem with drivers and the customer service sucks imo too.,

When I get new gpu I always personally go with xfx. I just like em.

I think its the best looking out of them too.

I dont know if newegg made a typo or what but the xfx 7970 says 925Mhz clock too. Newegg shows all five of the 7970 not overclocked. They are all clocked at 925Mhz / 1375Mhz

Where do you see the xfx being overclocked to 1000Mhz??

The limit is 10 per customer so they should have plenty in stock and hopefully shouldn't run out within the first day.

You are looking at the wrong XFX card. There are/were 2. One was the stock reference card like all the others. Then there is the sold out black series at the bottom that was overclocked.

Already sold out. Sounds about right though for a card as nice as that.

Core clock 1000Mhz. Memory clock 1425Mhz
