To fully utilize 6GB of Vram even in a DX11 game... what kind of setup would legitimately be required for that? I mean, Eyefinity is generally a trio of 1080p monitors strung together and that manages less than 2GB of Vram for a group of four 6970s in 4-Way CrossfireX.
The idea of playing on something larger than a trio of 27" monitors sounds really really cool, but the thought of what's needed to make full use of a 6GB card is just insane... I honestly don't think that I would ever dream of trying to spend that much on a desktop.
Just as an idea, would 6 30" monitors mounted on the wall, each with a native resolution of 2560x1440, combined together be enough to make use of that Vram allocation? o.o I mean, that's HUGE. You would find it more cost productive to just find a theater-grade projector and play it at a resolution of like 4800p or something like the IMAX uses. The Large Format Display monitors (LFD) cost upwards of a thousand a pop. Just speculating here, but does this sound somewhat accurate?
