I Love the build so far man, awesome work. Subbed

I do have one question though, Is this gonna be a move friendly desk? Are you gonna have to disassemble a good portion of this thing if you wanna move it?? It looks like it.

lol yea it will be a bit difficult when i move.

however, i did use cams in a lot of places, so when i need to take it apart, it'll come off easy and in sections BUTTT i will have to strip all of my components out. i found some clips i could use to mount the MoBo and such, but they are not too sturdy so i don't think i'll use them.

lol, i was hoping no one would point this out, but yea that is the main flaw in this design....and the reason i put it off for so long.
but it's cool, i like messing with this crap anyways so when i put it back together it'll be like rebuilding everything XD.

also, thanks for the compliments cheers.gif

You could use something like suitcase locks, and a notch in the wood to place the tray under. Sliding the tray under the notch on 1 side and locking it down on the opposite side.

Just an idea to build on thumb.gif

Glad to put my two cents in. I just finished building a cooling cabinet for my rig, and pulled my hair out a bit. So i know where you're coming from. I love to build things but can really weigh on your sanity.

This is what i just finished, second post down if you care to look

Kind of a little dirty still, but haven't had time to clean it up yet

that thing is pretty sick. I love what you did with the plexi glass door, very cool.
how come you didn't use laminate tho instead of paint?
it looks better than paint and it's easier to deal with IMO

only problem is that you have to make sure you squeeze all the air bubbles out and you pretty much need a router to shave off the excess laminate on the sides.

anyways, i think i will be doing something similar to this under my desk (hidden) and sound proof the crap outa it

cuz ima have 6 deltas plus 4 server fans (as loud/louder as/than deltas)....sooo yeaaa i don't wanna have to wear headphones every time i start up my PC
XD

Also, i just ordered some parts:
580 Waterblock $102.95
580 WB backplate $28.95
580 slot conversion $7.99
1xPURE H20 $20.04
Mayhemdyes $7.99
bits power snake $35.91
90 degree rotary $59.81
Spacer $2.49
o-rings $8.97
Monsoon Compression Fittings $77.98
UVredHose $49.99
Biocide $6.67
TV Wall Mount $30.72
Anti-Kink Coil $3.99

total: $444.45

also i will most likely be ordering:
Deltas $179.94
2x Black Ice Radiator $191.98
7.5" Rad screws
Y - fitting $19.99

which will total to: $660.40
for Feb

we will see tho.
My girlfriend and i are in a rough patch and we decided that she is going to move out and back to VA with her family.
so i gotta shell out some dough to help her get back and situated and all.

Other than being a couple hundred bucks behind, this build will be full steam ahead this month.
