Huzzah it's back on! But I'm thinking I'll be done my WC 680 gtx SLI with Ivy rig before you're done this one at this rhythm lol.

Still it's because of you I'm going for a desk build. so get to it dude! tongue.gif

haha you're prolly right
i work part time and am in school full time so i really only have the weekends for the build...sometimes i just wanna drink a few beers....so i tend to do things really slow rolleyes.gif
And thanks man, that makes me wanna do a better job seeing as i inspired ya cheers.gif

Ah I understand... I work as a professor, preparation and corrections take way the _____ too long! But eh, I get access to my lab (a lab for experimental physics (that we have to share with blubbering idiots, engineers)) so I have tools and can even build it while they write exams. Plus now most of the students are on strike!!! Woot Woot less bothersome brainless students!

Update on the cooling part of my build

enjoy!

this is a temporary test setup to see what i can expect.
the end product will be a self contained unit

Temps:
after leaving it running idle for about 2 hours idle CPU temps dropped to 28c
MoBo temps dropped to 30c 26c (which i think is due to the south bridge under a standard air cooler - i have no fan on it - rigged a small cooler master fan from an old AMD sink, fixed temps)
