Am I bottlenecking with my computer? I think I'm only getting around 50-62 gpu usage if I am reading that correctly? Is that correct or wrong? Bioshock infinite is a cpu demanding game? I've noticed a lot of quick freezes at times and unfreezes in the game so far. I tried lowing the graphics from Ultra to High but I still get the quick freezes every so often. Are quick freezes from bottlenecking?

Or is this game just trying to tell me my gtx 570 really can't handle high graphics in this game and that this game is much more Demanding than I expected?

I'm only getting around 30% CPU usage at most on my 930 overclocked to 3.8GHz. I don't think its CPU intensive much, its just fresh and I'm sure updates will fix issues. Not sure for me using an old GTX 470 cause it seems NVIDIA's dnew drivers don't work much for me

You're serious? This games laughing at my 3 year old graphics card? Wow, that is the first even tho Tomb Raider kind of did the same thing. All the games that have came out in 2013 are laughing at my gpu? Wait, how is the gtx 570, is it 2 or 3 years old? I originally had a gtx 470 before it was replace since the gtx 470 died. Is my gtx 470 the 3 year old card and gtx 570 is only 2 years old?

Now all I have to do is finish Tomb Raider! biggrin.gif

For anyone interested, 1440P bench on my machine with Ultra+DOF (2600k@4.8ghz, 680gtx SLI 4gb)

9.07, 117.57, 72.85, 161.98, Monument Island

Same bench with just Ultra, no Dof

Since it's using the Unreal Engine, disabling Depth of Field disables Bloom as well as all blurring (motion blur).

From what I am seeing on this forums, Bioshock Infinite will run perfectly on my system on ultra.

Can anyone with a 7950 Boost / OC 3gb confirm me that this game is running smoothly @ 60 fps everything set on ultra.

Check out this wiki: http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/BioShock_Infinite#Field_of_view_.28FOV.29

It was posted on the 2k forums, and has some tweaks you can try. It talks about the stuttering, and as others have mentioned in this thread, you can try disabling the frame lock and use the control panel for vsync.
