So I found the major culprit for my fps drops in one of the existing ini tweaks.

Navigate to %USERPROFILE%\My Documents\My Games\BioShock Infinite\XGame\Config\.
Locate and open file XEngine.ini in text editor (notepad for example).
Locate option bUseBackgroundLevelStreaming=True and change its value to False.

Just to clear something up... the season pass dlc is ONLY for when DLC gets released. If you activate it now and go back into the game, NOTHING will be added. Since nothing has been announced or released yet. I am seeing a ton of threads over on steam of people saying that they don't have their DLC... but it's because they are confused as to what the season pass is.

Which is simply a pre-purchase of DLC that will be released in the future, at a lower price. thumb.gif

I spent $150 on bioshock infinite because I got the songbird edition. I would be upset with myself if i beat it the day it released. I personally taking my time and soaking up the atmosphere biggrin.gif I also don't replay single player games so I tend to stretch it beating a single player game.

i know this but you get 5 extra upgrades and 4 outfit parts for buying the season pass >>

"In February 2013, 2K Games announced that a season pass would be offered for BioShock Infinite downloadable content (DLC).

The pass is available for $19.99/1600 Microsoft Points in the United States (£15.99 in Europe) and offers access to three content packs in all.

Purchasing the pack offers access to the Early Bird Special Pack, containing four pieces of gear, a machine gun upgrade, a pistol upgrade, special skins for both weapons and five infusion bottles to increase your stats."

"The Early Bird specials are activated upon entering the Blue Ribbon Restaurant area of the game. Here, your weapon skins will be activated, you will find the 4 pieces of Gear on a table and the 5 Infusion can be found on the bar and another table. "
