All i can really tell people who have issues with performance is to do the TWEAKS to the config file, be up to date on the drivers. I get 40-70fps at 7680x1440 on sli 670 4gbs with all max settiings (except shadows on high) and no aa( I don't use it on 1440p, fxaa if any), no vysnc, and no frame limiters. It was a mess before I did the tweaks with stuttering but it runs like butter now, especially at such a high resolution

Like I said before tweaks. Was a mess with stuttering and the mouse. Now it's great. So do the tweaks now, or wait for a patch.

in regards to those about the game with some complaining about how it isn't anything mind blowing or how it isn't "as dark" have you not seen the fact that this game has sunlight, daylight etc? It's supposed to be a happy world that got it all wrong and they don't even really know it but a select few. It's not Bioshock 3.

if you don't like it that's fine. to each his own! I have been nothing but blown away

I'm not trying to poke a hornet's nest, but get a better understanding of what you mean. How is it a smooth gaming experience if you're receiving 70fps and then dipping down to 40fps? To my eyes a 30fps drop is fairly noticeable. Is it just not noticeable to you?

I think most of us will agree with you. BUT!!! I'll be totally honest with you... I am a snob for 60 fps... if it's not at 60 or above. I won't play it. This has a lot to do with the display that you have and also the amount of latency your vid card is giving you. Plus how you perceive smoothness. So it's different for all of us. To him this might be smooth, which I have seen on a buddies display when he is playing GTA4, he's bouncing between 20-40 fps and it still looks smoother than what it would look like on my display. tongue.gif

anything over 60 doesn't mean anything with 60hz, but anything above 40 doesn't bother me. and fact that I do get that high of a frame rate at that high of a resolution is an accomplishment. Some games I can be always 60+ depends on the game, but I have accepted that I can't hold 60 fps with that many pixels unless I had sli titans. which I would never spend that much on anyway for graphics cards personally, but I am able to play everything at 7680x1440 or 4320x2560 with two 670s is crazy to begin with.

to be clearer. most of the time it hovers from 50-60fps. I was simply giving a range of what I've seen. It doesn't ever go from 70fps to BAM all of sudden 40. If it gets that low it was already that low in that particular scene/area to begin with.
