PC having all sort of problems

Thread Starter
Hey guys so the easiest way for me to tell you guys what is going on with my pc is to list the problems

1. The Audio Doesnt work. over the sound button is a red cross saying the audio device is disabled. ive tried uninstall and reinstalling the Realtek drivers but no help, did a system restore but no luck.

2. I cant seem to install programs. I saw that i had old versions of adobe flash so i uninstalled all versions and downloaded the newest (version 11). As soon i start the install it says fail to initialize and the exe disappears. Im having similar trouble with the Nvidia Drivers. Once its nearly done installing it says the system cannot find the specified file. I am also having trouble uninstalling the drivers from 'add or remove programs" as in when clicked it does nothing.

3. League of legends wont connect to pvp network. After clicking sign in it pops up with " Security alert - This page requires a secure connection which includes server authentication". Upon clicking Yes it says " Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available. Do you want to proceed?". If i click yes it keeps popping up a few times until it closes and League of Legends says it cannot connect to the Pvp.net server. Ive tried re syncing the clock time with windows but that didnt help. I was also suggested to reset the CMOS or remove the battery for 10 seconds. But im scared if i do that ill loose some settings or something that i dont know of.

Guys i really need help ive been trying to fix this since New years eve and spent all day today ( new years day) trying to fix it. Great start to 2012!

Either

1.) You have a virus

2.) You registry is filled with garbage.

3.) Your hard drive corrupted some data, and everything went to hell.

In any or all of those situations, i would reformat (if that is possible). Can you back up everything important on your HDD, and reformat your SSD?
How long has it been since the last time this computer had a clean Window's install done? Do you know how to reformat?

Pulling out the battery and resetting the CMOS might fix hardware problems, but you clearly seem to have software problems.
