Intel Core i7 950 vCore

Thread Starter
My i7 is stable at 1.081 vCore in the BIOS at 138x23. It won't do 143x23 so I imagine I cannot push it much further than where I have it. I am curious how high or low 1.081v is for a Bloomfield at relatively stock settings. This is my first x58 build, although I had a p55 build that I pushed the snot out of.

Its probably a little below average for stock vcore..

You should OC it an see how it does...  The range I have seen 4.0GH oc's are anywhere from 1.26v - 1.36v so thats where you will find out how good it does on low voltage...

Intel lists max vcore at 1.50v, but unless you have ln2 or dry ice heat will become an issue long before voltage...

well the bclk and multiplier you set would bring the 950 to around its stock frequency (when turboboost is active 3.2ghz)
my 950 runs stock at 1.075v but needs 1.296v@191x21. you seem in the appropriate range.
