Getting a second GTX 580

Thread Starter
I currently have a 580 1.5GB, and plan on getting another one. I also plan on having a two 1080p monitor setup, one for gaming and the other for multi-tasking. Is 1.5 GB enough? Not sure if I should change to 3GB.

I plan on going for tri- monitors, but that will be when the kepler series is released and upgrade.

well, 1.5 gb is enough. If your going for tri monitors purely for gaming then I would sell the two 580's when you get the money and then shell out for the 3 gb versions.

I have a 580 for sale, *cough*

You should be fine if your only gaming at 1080p. I can play Crysis 2 maxed out on a 2560x1440p screen with texture pack but it does use ALL my Vram. You should be fine getting another for 1080p gaming.
