My personal recommendations are the Ducky Shine, Filco, Das, Corsair's new lineup of mech keyboards if gaming is a very important factor. I'd also recommend you take a look at the WASD Custom Keyboard Designer. You can pretty much do whatever you want for a fair price.
-Cheaper than the ducky, filco, das or corsair.
-No backlighting.
-mx black
-Sturdy
-Keeps it simple and clean, so your desktop won't have to look like a 14 year old kids geeky spaceship.
-And doesn't take extra space than needed, low button to edge space.
Leopold Tenkeyless keyboards
- variety of switches available.
-Black or white case color
-smaller, more compact
-normal sized keys ( no crazy enter keys, etc )
-Quality is top notch at a very reasonable/entry level price
