Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2160 @1.80 Ghz -Help

Thread Starter
Hello from Slovenia,

I have overclocked my CPU to 2,25 Ghz,by increasing FSB each time i tested it with SUPER PI ,but i cant get above that value.

The FSB now is 250,i tested the sistem for 9 hous with prime with no errors,so the sistem is running stable,With FSB at 260 the sistem begins to crash,i've increasen the voltage by 0.025V each time but it is still crashing.

I ask for some advice or a solution. I am new to overclocking.

Thank you.

Upgrade your RAM, the 667Mhz DIMM's could be bottling out due to the OC, unless you are lowering the speed of them

Also, Hynix are quite bad for overclocking, from my own experience.

i was thinking the same thing. you might have to add voltage to your ram or get faster dimms.

also, add your computers specs to your signature so we can see your configuration easier.

Set your RAM:FSB ratio to 1:1 ( ur FSB is 250, then so should be your RAM ).

Then OC your CPU further. You should be at your ram max mhz @ 3ghz.

And stay below 65c load temperature.
