well considering all the research on this problem i have done and all the help you have giving me the ratio of a third flame to my finally OC my CPU and getting more advice on keeping it stable and cool its the very LEAST i could do lol so your welcome and thanks again for all the help so far all tests passed but i know only an hour lol just 11 more to go haha and ill look into getting another fan shouldnt be too hard newegg does great when looking for compatability lol

I do have a question the fan is a 4 pin i can just put that in the place of the ram 4 pin fan correct and it will work just the same as cpu fan when it heats up it will cycle the same?

Im glad I could be of help.

There is a possibility it will error over night, unless you have hit the magic stable numbers first off...rolleyes.gif

Like I mentioned before, just note which test and worker errors and let us know tomorrow. If it does error, its going to be something like DRAM volts or Vcore or something similar.

In which case, we just up it or lower it... its all great fun thumb.gif

sounds good thanks again heres hopeing its not vcore cause in my research on this board there is no option to directly change the Vcore option just dynamic Vcore and a few others...

Good to see a person that actually gives people rep when they're helped. I almost feel like giving you rep for repping others. tongue.gif

Your most welcome.

There are some pretty good people on this forum and great advice too. Thats also the reason I joined.

Just one thing for future reference and so you get all your posts read everytime... please try using some punctuation. Without it, it makes reading posts a lil hard. smile.gif

Some people here will ignore a perfectly vaild post if it appears as a wall of text. wink.gif

advice off/

Anyways, I hope your OC holds and look forward to see some results later.

No, not realy. The CPU fan header is dedicated to monitoring the temp of the CPU and adjusting the power to the CPU fan. In order to use two fans in push / pull, you can get a fan splitter. This is a small cable that plugs into the CPU fan header and feeds two fans. They are only a few dollars.

I have been meaning to practice such English ways. I get so use to texting or typing this way cause I'm usually in such a rush, but your correct I'm at home I should relax a bit, and have fun.

Plus I never thought of it as convenient for others to read so good thought and will be put to good use.

So use to making it convenient for me should be thinking about others. After all was the season should be year round lol.

By the way during the Prime95 test my temps seem to go between 44C - 52C but I'm still going to get that fan

Also, for the hell of it get a 7th fan for my case, after all there's a slot for it and i feel as though its wasted space if I don't accommodate it, and after all you can't be too cool.

No dramas. Your english is just fine thumb.gif

In my previous post, Ive answered your question about where to hook up the second fan. Just use a Y-splitter cable smile.gif

Once and many times before aprish my good man the advice is quite favorable and useful.

Also will this work just as well, I just prefer to get it from newegg.com I'm use to them and all.

it says 3 pin but claims PWM, which what i have read is adjustable speed for cpu fans.

scratch that read further details it is a 4 pin just got confused when it said connectors 3... nvm it should work

And once again i see you beat me, mines 7 plus 2 shipping, yours is just under 3 plus 3 shipping... sorry newegg lol

Yep, should work. Most Y splitters are 3 pin. When I had air cooling with a push/pull, these cables where a god-send.

BTW, you dont need to rep me anymore, While I appreciated the thought, we run the risk of rep abuse (its against the rules here) tongue.gif
