Thermalright ultra-120 retention bracket-where to buy?

Hi, does anyone know where to purchase the retention bracket to put on the back of the motherboard for lga775 mobos, specifically the gigabyte ds3?

the one i used had to be taken off and it no longer has the adhesive intact.

i tried looking at thermarlight's site but they did not have the specific bracket. i tried googling it but no go. does anyone know where it can be bought? Thanks.

Does it really need the adhesive stuff? I mean, it's a backplate, right, and it'll be held in place by screws anyways... As long as you have any sort of material that you can put inbetween (some foam material?) then I think you should be fine.

No it's the retention clip here. it actually isnt held on by screws to the mobo, but an adhesive in the center to the mobo. because the screws are used to connect the cooler and the backplate.

Crap.. I tried the usual suspects (frozencpu.com and such), but no charm.

will strong double sided tape (hard ware store) cut to the right size work??

Ha thanks for trying lol.

well I just didn't want to try anything risky that would damage the mobo ya know. cuz i think thats what happened last time. The adhesive stuck to the pins on the back of the mobo (Iono what they were but they were sticking out), and I think that's what may have caused some damage.

I have contacted thermalright to request another one (on the pretext that it was damaged on arrived), but i'm not sure how far that will go. maybe if i contact the place i got it from too (crazypc), but they are not big so I doubt they will allow it.

Anyways thanks for the help chozart, repped.
