It would help if we had the info on your RAM such as exactly what they are and the rating. Noted in your opening post they are running just above 1600 and the timings were 9-9-9-24.
Also how much voltage are you giving them?
This info is important if you believe you can go higher BUT know not all sets can run above 1600 stable, your results will depend on the set you have and your settings.

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz CL9 1.5V Non-ECC Unbuffered,
They started off at 1333 default so i got them upto 1600, i tried a few different voltages but none seemed to help it get any higher,
