Here is the error I am getting in device man.


Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Try uninstalling the driver like you did in device manger, then use device manager to manually install the driver after you've downloaded it from the manufacturer's website. If that doesn't work refer to XNine's post.

Ok went and installed a spare dvd drive I had in another rig and same problem.
This is telling me this is a windows problem. Would like comformation of this please.
Does anybody know how to fix this short of reinstalling windows?
