Thanks, but I had a lot of fear doing that build. Most of my fears started near completion when I filled my loop for the first time, and leak testing. My biggest fear was turning it on for the first time, since this was my first build. I was preparing myself for an epic fail, but I got a lot of support from this forum. Your build looks nice now, but if you ever decide to add more and mod the case, you can get a lot of support from this forum. They were very encouraging when I did my build, and eased the fear (just a little. tongue.gif).

Nice. Looks very tight already, and will continue to get tighter as you clean up the little things people have mentioned. Here is one more for you: I have those same LED light strips. To avoid tie-wrapping, or using the stoopid little velcro stickies, I used some flexible magnet and glued it to the plexi squares and then stuck the light strip up into the top of my case, hidden. Stuff similar to this, but thinner.

Now the question is, what do I get? I would love to get EVGA's GTX 590 Hydro Copper but they appear to be unavailable.

I personally got the 3072MB GTX 580 Classified.

The broken cards maybe a blessing in disguise, I hear newer games can tend to be a little Vram hungry, So pick up the 3G versions if you can, + the classified versions of the GTX 580 would match you theme much better.

But great looking build. Was stunned to see no mods on the case, still very nice though.

I have a pump mod top as well but looking at my fittings I could never fit 2 strait bitspower 1/2ID 3/4OD compression fittings for the intake and exit of the front of the pump like you did.
The fittings are so large I couldn't even screw them in next to each other!

DigittrevX, that is a EK D5 X-Top Pump Top Rev. 2 on a Swiftech MCP-655. The fittings are Bits Power compression fittings - 1/2" ID 3/4"OD. They are close but still have room to get them both on without any problems. I originally ordered the clear Bits Power top but it turned out that the threads on were wrong too. Bad threads seem to be the theme of my build. I hope that theme doesn't extend to my cpu too smile.gif

I'll definitely check out the classified 580's, Phillies.

I did mod the case..er..sort of. I dremeled out the rails to fit the dual 5.25 bay res and drilled a hole for the fill port. That was about as close to modding as I got. Don't laugh! wink.gif

Cool thanks for the info El Tostador, it seems the EK version has the fittings positioned further apart making 1/2ID 3/4OD compressions possible! I've been looking into pump top configurations since I'm about to go through my second revision of my rig and the pump has to move to the cage below the hotswap HD's on my 800D to make room for another gpu. I looked at the front and realized there was a problem with standard compressions of that size so was looking for alternatives. I believe I have 2 possible solutions I like. Thanks for the info!

DigitrevX, I just received a replacement today from Frozen CPU for the Bits Power pump top. This one is the one you must have. Wow I cant believe Bits Power would make a top that doesn't work with their own fittings!

After playing with it I may have another solution for you. If you don't mind extending the connections out 1 3/4" or so, you may be able to use double rotary (90 degree) fitting along with an extender.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I've been away for a little while! Yeah i don't have a lot of room so I was thinking going with 2x 45 degree fittings or go with a strait fitting on the front inlet and a 90 degree on the top exit. The situation is a little unique.

Hi,

Thanks for making this build. Its given me a few ideas I would like to try, especially because you have built a 99% un-modded system in the 800D, something I would like to do. My question is about temps. With only 120.3 in the roof and 2xGPU in the loop, how are the temps at load? Are you overclocking at all? How are you cooling the CPU as I cant see any type of fan or water block!
