So if my sister gets on verizon, can you join in and make it a family? - Page 2

I would stay away from Straight Talk unless you want a basic phone. Straight Talk is Wal-Marts pay-as-you-go provider. (AKA: Tacfone, Net 10) They have ONE Android phone, and a friend of mine has it, and it is junk. These things may have changed since then, but I don't see them improving by leaps and bounds over the last few months.

Eh I guess I'll pass, I was hoping they've had a cheap Windows phone since I hear Windows phone is smooth, but android sucks unless it's a good android like a nexus or something.

I've used both Android and WP7, the only thing is i want WP7 to succeed, but at the moment, it's a good day-to-day OS, but lacks a lot of features and openess that Android has, go to a store and try it (I just sold a Venue Pro about two hours ago). If you want WP7, go Simple Mobile or try T-Mobile's Value Plans (it's another BYOD, bring your own device plan) and go on Craigslist or ebay and pick up a HTC HD7. Personally, if you want the cheapest, you go with T-Mobile, it lacks service in some areas, but for me, I live in LA and go to school in the SF area, so my signal is 4G wherever I go, since all carriers have service in all metropolitan areas anyways. Not to mention, they don't care which device you use, unlike AT&T, Sprint and Verizon which tack on data plans as soon as you use a smartphone

On the site the cheapest plan T Mobile got with data is $70.

I know WP7 is lacking, but most smartphone apps suck anyways. And android really sucks on lower end devices, like holy crap a non-smartphone is nicer and smoother than a lower end android phone.
