Its interesting that you put a negative spin for what will probably be a nail in the coffin for new sales of the GTX 580. Why would anyone buy it when 7970 overclocks better, scales better while overclocked or xfired, and is 20-40% faster at stock.

Even though nvidia are greedy pricks despite making great products (hello 850$ 8800ultra), they will likely grudgingly lower GTX 580 prices to counter this. Are you still going to complain?

I really hope(wish) the 580's drop in price, maybe around $50 or so.

I'd love to SLI and don't wanna waste the effort in selling my card and taking the cut in dollars for selling a used one.

Phenom II 1095T @ 300 bucks

Next week Phenom II 1100T @ 300 bucks.

1095's drop to 250.

AMD always punishes early adopters.

Well , I'll be happy to get for my cards (2 GTX 560 ti Maximun Edition) a least $350 in ebay. I want the 7970, but is nvidia lower the price around $380 for the 580 I'll buy it 2 of thoses , if not , 2 7970 , we see in the next 3 weeks
