965 BE Undervolting/clocking Help...

Hi. Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section but I need some help...

My CPU's fan tends to get loud (RPM goes as high as 5900) whenever I play games (Temperature's fine. The highest I've ever seen it go is 54°C on HWMonitor). I'd like to reduce this by underclocking and/or undervolting it. I installed AMD Overdrive but haven't changed any settings since I'm afraid I'll somehow destroy my CPU. Also, I don't know how to get into my PC's BIOS (Damn text goes by too fast lol stun.gif )

Specs:
Phenom II x4 965 BE @ 3.4 GHz (The 125 TDP one)
Sapphire Radeon 6850 1GB
2x 4GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 @1333MHz
Biostar A880G+
XPower 585w PSU
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit

If anyone knows another way to make my fans quieter without sacrificing performance, please do tell.

*FIXED* SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: My motherboard has this feature called Biounlocking. I enabled it by accident while trying to get into my BIOS and now HWMonitor can't detect the temperature of my CPU. It just stays at 0°C no matter what (http://screensnapr.com/v/9hZ2Kz.png) How can I fix this? :3. Resetting my mobo to default settings fixed this.

Umm... with a screwdriver? My PC just booted the Windows installation disc the first time I turned it on. It's been like that ever since o.O

And I'll go try that in a bit thumb.gif
