Some new readings that has me wondering about widescreens:

Tom's seems to imply that widescreen TFT panels are not as mature as the 4:3 panels. Picture quality and performance are just not up to part with the better 4:3 panels. This is bad to hear because I think a 1680x1050 widescreen panel would be ideal for me.

Then get a Dell WFP series...the 2007, 2407, and 3007 WFP monitors are all great.

Also, the Apple cinema display... 20, 23, and 30" displays...I think they have one other one...but I don't really pay attention to those....lol

Well guys cheers for the input on this disscusion.

I recieved my Hyundai 19" Wide LCD on Tuesday, and WOW!
The computer it is on normally ran at 1024x768 anyway because my parents didnt like to squint to see things.
Now on this 19" i run at 1440*900 and everything is clear and amazin.
I had my doubts but they are all gone after running some games on the monitor.
No ghosting, no dead pixels, just amazin quality.

All i need now is a DVI to DVI cable.

PS. I now hate using my computer on my old 15" CRT lol, i shall nab my paretns 17" tft tv lol
