insulated mobo's do not get hot.. especially with temp colder than -160c on the CPU...for that matter i run fully insulated mobo's for my daily user.. over 90% of the entire PCB is covered.. its temps are just fine.

 

 I really suggest you do some more reading up on subzero cooling.. you must understand how preposterous your conceptual idea really is. rolleyes.gif

That is very interesting. I didn't know that motherboards don't get particularly hot. Are the heat sinks just for show?

Is there any forum or article you would suggest to me?

 I run a 930 on air @ 3.8ghz / 3.6qpi and 3.6NB for daily use on this now.. never bothered to remove the insulation as it will eventually have its time on -0 again.

I run the same way, with all my boards fully insulated even if I am running 24/7 on air.

So do I. Forgot I had the back lubed up tho, all got warm and dripped into the PSU. Didn't do any damage just looks like sombody... "accidently" All over the PSU.
