Not that it's a reflection of how this tablet will be, but my mom just got the 7" A100 for Christmas and it feels very solid in your hands and overall has exceeded my expectations. Hopefully they put these on the shelf at a competitive price point.

The main benefit is that it will be almost impossible to see the individual pixels. Although it would be unnecessary to increase PPI past the point of the pixels being indistinguishable.

Please. Fewer pixels and more applications that can take advantage of the hardware available--beyond just games.

this is amazing! Ive had the Acer A500 since day one. A little overclocking i Love it. My only complaint is the audio quality is horrable. Video is great. Look at this video to see how much the audio sucks! Other than that i love acer

Not sure if I want that res on a 10" screen. I've used a Sony mini-laptop thing and it had a lower, but still high, res on a tiny screen and the windows circle was as small as a pencil's eraser. Would be good for (pointlessly high res) 1080p video though... black bars aside. Didn't see a price in source, but hope it's competitive.

I don't know them for quality, either, but they had a press release not too long ago that said they were sick of making low quality crap (basically). Hopefully they make these with that in mind.

People complain when the resolution isn't high enough, then they complain when it is.

Part of the problem is that too many people think every OS treats resolutions the same way desktop Windows does. You'd think with so many people on OCN being PC gamers that they'd understand the concept of resolution independence.
