Okay, so here's the situation. I just found out I can use my Steam account in Offline mode on my HTPC, while using it Online on my main rig. That's AWESOME! I've been trying to figure out a way to let my GF play some games on my TV, while I use my computer.

Now, here's what I need. Look at this link (look at my full list of Steam games):

I need a list made up, that tells me which of these games will work well with a touchpad mouse, or an XBox 360 controller. FPS, RPG's, racing...it doesn't matter. Also, if anybody has any experience in doing just this, it would be nice to know ahead of time how GFWL is going to play with this setup, and if any LAN functions would work (so we can multiplayer).

Please help, it would be much appreciated.

First off, thats a hefty game list and Ill leave that to someone else.. Second, I would disable the steam cloud on her computer and then completely disconnect and restart steam in offline mode.... Shouldn't affect your main computer that's connected to the web and steam cloud. However if she links up it'll just boot one of you off. I don't see LAN being an option while running under the same user credentials.

All Steam games that support the 360 pad (up until the date that list was made at least) is listed there. Now I just need that cross referenced with my list, and to know which games wouldn't be too terribly hard with a touchpad (games like PopCap games and such). Also, if I have any games newer than that list that work.

I let my daughter play some games in offline mode on the laptop while I'm in online mode on my desktop. I know Costume Quest works with the 360 controller because she is always borrowing mine. I personally haven't found any game that I like using a touchpad with. It just always feels too weird for me. I gave her my old gaming mouse to plug in and use for Terraria and other games but I think I may try to find a decent wireless mouse for her to use with the laptop. (trying to get her used to kb/mouse for most gaming but she 8 so
