Chassis Fan Controls? ASRock

Installed H100 yesterday on my NZXT Phantom with ASRock p67 extreme4gen3. Everything went swimmingly and temperatures have never been lower. However, it sounds like a rocket because the corsair fans that came with it are at 100%. I have attached them to the chassis fan 2 and chassis fan 3 slots right next to each other on my board. A description of my board from asrock says that it supports chassis fan speed based on cpu temperature, which sounds good to me, except I can't figure out how to enable or configure this. I installed speedfan just to see if I could change the speeds, but speedfan for whatever reason only lets me change fan 3, not fan 2. Anyone familiar with this uefi bios able to point me in the right direction?

are the fans pwm enabled? IIRC to have them auto controled they need to be the 4 wire type.

Actually I believe they are both 3 pin. In that case I need to install some sort of software like speedfan to control them manually or hook them up to my case's fan controller. I have one available 3 pin connection left on the controller, I guess I would just need some sort of splicer to connect both of them.

Check the BIOS under HW Control (or something similar to that) there should be one of the fans that can be regulated based on temperature. I believe it may only be Chassis FAN 1 and not 2 or 3.

Why not use the CPU Fan 1 and 2 headers located just above the processor? They have temperature controlled adjustments and work well for me.

Once your in windows you can set the fan speed for any motherboard connected fan using the AS Rock tuning software but it will reset when you restart unless the ASRock software loads again.

You can get a simple cable splitter from 1 3pin to 4 3pins. I use it for my Gentle Typhoons. I have 3 or 4 fans on each fan controller channel.
