Intel SSD X-25E 64gb

How much are they worth new and sealed? I see google shopping has them for 700 bucks, but what could someone actually expect to sell one for?

Phew, it's kind of hard to appraise this nowadays since it's SLC, and most consumer SSDs are MLC. Generally it seems SLC drives are twice to three times more expensive than MLC.

I'd compare it to these MLC SSDs:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820118002 (similar in terms of read/write speed)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167048 (similar IOPS)

I estimate that your drive is worth around $300? Don't quote me on that though, hopefully someone else here on OCN can help. Consider this post more of a courtesy bump than anything now that I think about it haha

Yea, definitely more than 300 lol. Don't compare to MLC drives. SLC drives will last way longer then any MLC drive.

Go buy the Google shopping price and maybe a bit lower like $50-100 cheaper. You need to find a buyer for it tho, that is the hard part.

So ~$700 sounds fair sealed and new...till newer Intel SLC drives come out that is...
